There are a number of basic supplements to aid wellness:
We are approximately 60% water. If you want nice healthy, plump blood cells and your lymph system, which is the cleaning mechanism of the body, working properly, the target is ½ of your body weight in ounces of water each day (drinking just before eating helps with weight loss). Make sure to keep your electrolytes up – drink coconut or vegetable juice or make your own electrolyte drinks.
We used to be able to get adequate magnesium from our food. With soil depletion, that has not been the case since to 1950’s for some basic nutrients. Among these are magnesium, which is elemental to over 300 processes in the body.
The best magnesium I have found is “Dr’s Best BRAIN Magnesium”.
It is easily assimilated by the body (many magnesium supplements are used to treat constipation, so they are not easily absorbed by the body). It also crosses the blood brain basrrier and helps offset dementia.
Caveats for Magnesium: Please note that anyone having reduced or impaired kidney function or an impacted bowel should NOT take a magnesium (or any other mineral) supplement.
One of the main causes of malfunctions in our bodies is inflammation. Turmeric is one of the best anti-inflammatory herbs. You can get it in a number of ways: use it as a seasoning in your food, make a drink of it or take it a supplement. One of the best turmeric supplements I have found is C3 complex turmeric curcumin by Sports Research.

Braggs is a great brand. In addition to being an antidote to Gerd, it is also another anti-inflammatory agent which helps with arthritis.
Blueberries are one of the best superfoods. They provide anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory protection to the body. Eat at least 1 cup per day.
